By Caroline Gaudette | February 19, 2019 | Parties

THE PARTY: This year’s annual Washington Winter Show, held in the Katzen Art Center, celebrated the timeless joy of playing host, featuring celebrated leaders in the event industry and 40+ high-end antique dealers to spotlight the theme of Elegant Entertainment. THE PEOPLE: The weekend-long celebration kicked off with a luncheon featuring event extraordinaire Bronson Van Wyck. Whitney Robinson, Editor in Chief at Elle Decor, led Saturday’s designers' panel, featuring renowned interior designers Sarah Bartholomew and Eddie Ross as well as HGTV star Leanne Ford. Former White House curator, William Allman, spoke on presidential entertainment, on theme with the featured loan exhibit titled “The Pleasure of your Company: Elegant Entertaining with George and Martha Washington” presented by George Washington’s Mount Vernon. BEST IN SHOW: When the sun went down on Saturday, the voices of renowned speakers and exclusive antique dealers were replaced by the sound of jazz music filling the space for a night of elegant celebration.
