The highly-coveted Emmys statuette wasn’t the only thing the winners took home this year.
Last night, the iconic Napa Valley winery Sterling Vineyards celebrated its sixth year as the Official Wine Sponsor of the 73rd Emmy Awards Season.

And guess what? We have the first photos from the star-studded evening to share with you all!
For the first time ever, guests were invited to sip Sterling Vineyards wines throughout the awards ceremony, with nominees sipping on Sterling Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and Sterling Vineyards Napa Valley Chardonnay.
The Emmys are doing something different after 73 years of pure fabulousness. We celebrate them for keeping with tradition, but also finding new ways to reinvent themselves.
Aren’t you curious what type of alcohol Debbie Allen drinks *chugs* after a long day at Grey Sloan? I know we are.
In addition to enjoying the wines from their ceremony seats, winners including Jason Sudeikis, Jean Smart, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and John Oliver received a hand-personalized bottle of Sterling Vineyards icon wine, Sterling Vineyards Iridium Cabernet Sauvignon.
These industry legends took the wine home to toast alongside their Emmy statuette. It may seem like a small token of appreciation compared to the lifelong honor of winning an Emmy, but what better way to celebrate than with great wine?
We drowned ourselves in red wine last night, too. Stars, they’re just like us!
With very minor, slight differences. Like, you know, being recognized for one of the greatest achievements of all time.
