In 1997, when a global generation first learned they’d “gotta catch ‘em all,” we never could have imagined that would one day mean buying up a collection of Fendi bags, accessories and streetwear—but here we are.

The legendary Italian fashion house just announced its partnership with Japanese street style icon Hiroshima Fujiwara and Pokémon, unveiling an adorable and stylish collection of goodies covered in beloved OG Pokémon dragons.
The latest installment of Fendi’s continuing Friends of Fendi series specifically taps Fujiwara’s FRGMT brand. Dragonair, Dragonite and Dratini feature prominently across the lineup. It’s a nod to the upcoming Year of the Dragon in the Chinese zodiac, but these looks will be super effective throughout the foreseeable future.
The Fendi and FRGMT logos are reimagined across the looks in beautiful hardware on the Peekaboo and Baguette bags for women and men, but of course, the real scene stealers are these kawaii creatures.
The dragons peek around the bags, striking cute poses in leather 3D marquetry, handcrafted by Fendi’s leather artisans. The collection also features a beautiful pair of dangling earrings with a Dratini and Pokéball on either ear, as well as a functional Pokéball necklace that opens to reveal an FF and Fragment logo inside.
Shirts, hoodies and more round out this collection, which will become available in full in Fendi boutiques worldwide and online on Thursday, Jan. 4. Additionally, the collection will be available inside the Pokémon GO mobile game, where players will be able to dress their trainer avatars in the collection looks the same day the collection is available to buy.
