Guests took a walk down memory lane, and savored all four seasons, at Washington's iconic luxury hotel.
Four Seasons celebrated its 40th anniversary by transforming its ballroom into an homage to the beauty of Washington’s four seasons.
Forty years ago, Isadore Sharp had a goal to make the Four Seasons Washington, DC the new standard for hospitality. In the decades since, the venerable Georgetown luxury hotel has served as a respite for royalty, diplomats and celebrities alike, while also becoming a hub of power dining and high-end socializing. So at its over-the-top 40th anniversary party, the posh property exquisitely celebrated summer, fall, winter and spring in individually season-themed rooms.
“The 40-year success of the hotel is due to the employees who are committed to making every single one of the guests who come through our doors feel welcome,” says General Manager David Bernand, who took time during his remarks to honor several of the company’s longestserving staff. Spoken like a seasoned veteran.
