Hilton's latest 360-room property is CityCenterDC's latest luxury development to deliver on its promise.
When ground broke in D.C. for Hilton's latest Conrad project, its developers—real estate firm Hines and investor Qatari Diar—promised an elevated luxury property that would help define the surrounding CityCenterDC.
They tapped Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron (famed for their design of the Olympic Stadium in Beijing and The Tate Modern in London) to create the property's unique sleek, cool exterior, while Rottet Studio, a New York- and Houston-based design firm, crafted the hotel's minimalist interior design.
Top Chef alums and James Beard Award nominees Bryan and Michael Voltaggio took the lead when defining the property's food and beverage offerings. At Estuary, the hotel's fine dining establishment, the duo crafted a seasonal menu that highlights the diverse offerings of the Mid-Atlantic region.
The hotel's 10th floor Sakura Club is also a foodie destination. VIP guests at the property can take advantage of the space's private chef, concierge service and private meeting rooms. Special access to the newly opened rooftop bar also makes booking a club level room enticing.
The property is Hilton's first Conrad in D.C., and the company's 35th outpost around the globe. 950 New York Ave NW, Washington, 202-844-5900; hilton.com
