In today's profit-driven business world, sales and increasing profits are at the forefront of most entrepreneurs' minds. However, 37-year-old Ian Prukner has a different perspective. He believes that putting people over profits is the secret behind revolutionizing your business.
In a recent interview, Ian Prukner disclosed that his financial services business is unique because it prioritizes people over profits. “this industry drives increasingly up market, they only want to deal with people who have major resources. They have abandoned the middle market completely. We believe that everyone deserves access to the same information and the same service regardless of their current financial situation. Prrukner’s objective is to make business transformational, rather than transactional for people. Prukner’s firm has established two charities through which they want to raise great leaders, which is also another way of giving back to the community.
Most people are always so focused on financial freedom that they forget about their families. For Prukner, it is possible to have a great family life and win in business with good time management. One of his projects runs marriage retreats for entrepreneurs to help them develop a proper balance in life.
Ian Prukner, who was born in Royal Oak, Michigan, is a graduate of Wayne State University. He has been married to Jessica for 16 years, and they have three kids who are being homeschooled. While starting his entrepreneurship dream, Prukner admits that at times he was out of balance, letting his family life at one point teeter dangerously close to the edge. He later reevaluated his priorities because he knew that winning is worthless without the people you are doing it for. Today they are truly living the dream. In addition to owning a financial services firm with more than 1000 agents, being a real estate investor, author and leadership consultant, Prukner has also empowered thousands of entrepreneurs to create their best life at home and in business.
People over profits is a standard which we should all hold ourselves to. Ian Prukner, a successful entrepreneur and family man, has shown that when we put people first the profits follow.
