Innovation and Influencer Issue Release Party

| November 6, 2018 | Parties

DC’s most prominent people were in attendance at the Capitol File Innovation & Influencer Issue Release Party held at Ajax. Guests were able to mingle with the host and face of the Capitol File October Issue, Jeffrey Wright. The furnishings by Posh & Luxe and florals by Casa Delirio added to the futuristic meets western setting. The open space at Ajax allowed for an array of food stations, drink stations, photo stations, and yes – even a gaming station. Entertainment Software Association provided the virtual reality gaming station and Microsoft provided tablets where attendees could take a quick break from socializing.

There were plenty of photo-op moments including a western photo booth from Washington Talent Agency, with props that made you feel like you were on set at Westworld, and a 360 photo booth courtesy of Events DC. Andy Kushner Entertainment set the mood as guests sipped on their activated reality cocktails thanks to ARTECHOUSE. Drink stations were indicated by Type A Signage, which included a whisky tasting from One Eight Distilling, RFK Untapped beer by Atlas Brew Works, and wine from District Winery. Although there were plenty of drinks to choose from, there was also an assortment of food. Occasions Catering provided bites from smoked bison to spiced apple “pop tarts”, and Nicecream offered tasty treats for those with a sweet tooth. This event is the definition of what it means to be #socapitolfile.
