The weather this season has certainly been frightful, but luckily the city has some delightful choices for getting out and about even when it’s downright frigid outside.
The Watergate hotel roof is now home to a synthetic ice rink. The ice rink offers 360-degree views of the city and for post-skating, The Next Whisky Bar Igloos. The igloos are 12-foot heated domes on the outdoor terrace of The Next Whisky Bar. Guests can add four experiences to their igloo reservation like a three-course dessert tasting menu or a whisky flight with a burger and cigar.
The city’s premiere restaurant and chocolate boutique is home to some delicious hot chocolate. Choose from dark, white, milk, peanut butter or salted caramel flavors for a warm and cozy treat. Pair them with a chef’s five-course dessert experience for the ultimate winter night out.
The W Hotel’s rooftop bar and lounge is the perfect option for a fun night out with friends. Their seasonal beverage menu includes cocktails like “The Side Chic,” made with Martell VSOP, maple and lemon and the “Spiced Daiquiri,” with Mount Gay rum, Mezcal, lime and ancho pepper.
