March is Women’s History Month and DC is celebrating all month long with special events, exhibits, and dining experiences. Round up your gal pals and celebrate women's power, beauty and history with these DC experiences.

To commence the celebration, Hotel Zena is hosting a Womanica Wellness Event on March 1 with Natalie Strahorn of the MVMT Society in partnership with the Womanica podcast. After a 45-minute sweat-sesh, toast to female strength and empowerment with complimentary champagne.
Other events include ‘Spirited Woman’, a tasting event featuring women-led distillers, winemakers, and brewers, on March 25 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. with both general admission and VIP tickets available. Celebrate Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s birthday on March 15. Join Hotel Zena for an all-day screening of RGB, a film based on the story of the Supreme Court legend, her struggles for equal rights, the early cases of a historic career and her impact as a Justice. Join the National Museum of Women in the Arts on Wednesday, March 8 to celebrate the amazing contributions women have made to the world with their creativity. Throughout the day museum staff, artists, musicians and bartenders will host online events highlighting women in the arts.

Celebrate the stories of Black feminists by visiting the ‘We Who Believe in Freedom: Black Feminist DC’ exhibition.
The groundbreaking partnership between the National Women’s History Museum and the DC Public Library traces Black feminism in DC from the turn of the 20th century through the civil rights and Black Power movements to today. Celebrate the expansive work that Black feminists have done to make a difference in the lives of women in DC communities and for people across the country. The exhibit opens on March 30, 2023.
